Adv. Hoffman is a partner at Ben Ari Fish, Law Firm and heads the firm’s Labor Law Department.

Adv. Hoffman specializes in labor law, civil and administrative litigation, elections law and higher education law.

Adv. Hoffman has rich experience gained over many years in the area of labor law, and he represents large Israeli corporations in important and principled litigation cases, including higher education institutions, government companies, local authorities and public companies.

Adv. Hoffman is engaged, among other things, in legal representation in litigation proceedings and collective proceedings (including accompanying and representing corporations in disputes with labor organizations and negotiations for the drafting of collective agreements). He also represents senior executives, providing ongoing legal counselling to corporations in the area of labor law, including the drafting of employment agreements, representation in the execution of transactions, mergers and acquisitions, incentive and share option plans, discipline, sexual harassment, as well as in criminal proceedings conducted before the labor court.

Adv. Hoffman served as judge on the Israel Bar Association’s Disciplinary Tribunal and as (joint) Chairperson of the Israel Bar Association’s Labor Court Committee (Haifa District). In addition Adv. Hoffman lectures and coordinates continuing education professional training in labor law in the Israel Bar Association.

Adv. Hoffman leads precedent-setting and innovative cases in the area of labor law, representing both employers and employees. Examples include principled proceedings in which Adv. Hoffman represented a leading publicly traded company, in a scope of approximately NIS 10 million, against demands made by employees to be recognized as permanent company employees. In a class action lawsuit related to labor law, Adv. Hoffman is representing a leading publicly traded company, sued in a scope of tens of millions of NIS for principled claims concerning the manner of payment of employee wages.

Adv. Hoffman has expertise in representing employees in complex and unique claims, for example representation of a senior-level employee who terminated his employment with a leading hi-tech company and sued for the unfreezing of shares in connection with his resignation as if his employment was terminated by the company.
