ABOUT

Adv. Abir Assadi is the partner leading the criminal department – white collar, and in addition leads and coordinates the field of legal advice for local planning and construction committees.

Adv. Assadi has over 20 years of experience and vast knowledge in the field of criminal law, including white collar crime, corporate and officers liability, workplace safety, criminal enforcement of labor laws, enforcement and compliance, environment, planning and construction and business licensing.

Adv. Assadi also provides legal counselling on disciplinary action in the public service, including representation before the Disciplinary Court, and has extensive experience in this area.

Adv. Assadi serves as a legal advisor to planning and construction committees, and has extensive experience providing legal counselling to local committees and representation in administrative appeals, administrative petitions, civil lawsuits, and licensing and land betterment tax appeals, in addition to providing legal opinions on complex planning issues.

Prior to joining our firm, Adv. Assadi served as a senior police prosecutor in the Israel Police – Northern District Criminal Prosecution Unit, and as part of her responsibilities she represented the State in diverse and complex criminal proceedings before the various legal instances.

Adv. Assadi was a lecturer at the Western Galilee College on drug and alcohol addictions. Together with the late Adv. Adam Fish she delivered lectures to master’s degree students at the School of Criminology in the University of Haifa and to students at the National Security College on the topic of wrongful criminal convictions. She was also a lecturer on safety law at the Israel Institute for Occupational Safety and Hygiene.

Adv. Assadi serves as co-chair of the Criminal Committee of the, Israel Bar Association, Haifa District.

She was elected to the Directors Team of the Government Companies Authority for 2022.
