Adv. Sagi is a partner at Ben Ari Fish, Law Firm. She practices all aspects of commercial law for over 10 years, specializing in intellectual property in general, and particularly in aspects of higher education . Adv. Sagi has extensive experience providing ongoing legal counselling on copyright issues, from beginning to end, including, if so needed, conducting litigation proceedings in the various courts. Adv. Sagi also has an additional and unique specialization in the field of cooperative societies.

Adv. Sagi takes part in the legal advisory team providing service to budgeted higher education institutions, and in this capacity accompanies their activities on an ongoing basis, particularly regarding intellectual property, civil law matters, and all aspects of tenders law.

Adv. Sagi’s areas of practice are civil litigation, tenders law, class action lawsuits, cooperative societies, and ongoing commercial legal counselling. She holds a master’s degree in law and technology and coordinates the field of intellectual property at the firm.

Adv. Sagi is engaged, among other things, in conducting legal proceedings in all areas of civil, commercial and administrative law before the various legal courts, including mediation and arbitration proceedings. She also provides ongoing legal counselling to the firm’s clients in commercial law, corporate law, tenders law, cooperative societies and intellectual property law. Adv. Sagi serves as legal advisor to tender committees of companies under obligation to conduct a tender and to higher education institutions.

Adv. Sagi represented the owner of a software code that was copied by a competitor. Owing to her tenacious representation she was able to prove that, despite the considerable similarity that exists between different software codes, in this specific case a de facto copying of the code was committed. Consequently, the concurrent use was halted and substantial compensation was awarded.

Prior to joining our firm, Adv. Sagi was an intern, followed by working as a lawyer, in the intellectual property department of a leading law firm in Tel Aviv.
